Grant Thornton supports IIRC consultation draft

Grant Thornton welcomes the release of the IIRC's consultation draft of the International Integrated Reporting framework. The framework creates the foundations for a new reporting model which will enable a business to provide a concise communication of how it creates value over time.

Ed Nusbaum, global CEO of Grant Thornton and a member of the IIRC Council said, "We are supportive of the idea that the current corporate reporting model must evolve to meet the needs of today's business and investment environment. The framework will help demonstrate what drives businesses' decisions and whether behaviours create value over time. Behaviour and business practices drive what is reported, but reporting brings transparency and hopefully changes behaviour for the benefit of society and the world economy."
