Beatriz carries out her activities in the Tax Department of Grant Thornton Uruguay. She holds a Master degree in Tax Law and Technique and completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Montevideo.
She is a member of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies integrating the International Tax Commission of the Institute.
She teaches at the International Tax Planning module of the Master’s in Taxation at the Postgraduate Center of the Economic Sciences and Administration University. She is a mentor and leader of the “Entre Todas” programme of the Uruguayan Women’s Organization (OMEU), aimed to support and training enterpreneurs women from vulnerable sectors throughout the Uruguayan territory.
Her practice includes tax advice and accounting services to corporations (performing activities in Uruguay and abroad), tax free trade zone corporations and her contribution in advising to important issues of values, trusteeship, investment, acquisitions, transformations, fusion, splitting and liquidation of companies, having specialized in corporate matters, accounting and taxation.
Beatriz is the author of articles on her specialty and is a speaker at conferences.
