Rafael Sánchez, certified public accountant, is Partner and Head of Audit & Assurance at Grant Thornton Uruguay. His extensive practice includes specializations in auditing of Insurance, Forestry and Agriculture Industries among other financial, industrial and commercial companies.
He was a professor of Accounting Theory and Advanced Accounting in the Universidad ORT of Montevideo, Uruguay.
He has an international specialization on Auditing developed in London, United Kingdom working for International Groups listed in London and New York Stock Exchange. Additionally, he has leaded and collaborated in audit projects in Brazil and Argentine and has integrated Quality Review Audit Teams in the Region.
